Double sided patchwork and 150 hours later….

Over the past month i have been busy stitching this commission for a double sided patch work quilt, its the first time I have been asked to use patch work on both sides, this gives the option of it being reversible, because of this quality I wanted to give the quilt quite a different feel on either side. I toyed with the idea of using a different patchwork design on both sides but the lady who was commissioning it wanted to have squares on both side, so i decided to use colour to give the sides their identity and feel. I have recorded the whole making of the quilt in photos below.
