Lamp shades

Hand printed with natural printing paste the colours are derived from herbs and plants. This design is printed onto Ahimsa silk, other wise known as peace silk. Unlike the conventional method where the pupae are killed before reeling the yarn from the cocoons, Ahimsa silk production lets the moth fly from the cocoon before it is harvested.
